A School ReadinesS FAIR ON NOVEMBER 2

ROWLAND HEIGHTS, CA – OCTOBER 28, 2019 – To reach families with pre-school aged children (ages 3, 4 and 5) who are considering Transitional Kindergarten (TK) or Kindergarten, Rowland Unified School District (RUSD) will launch KinderFest” on Saturday, November 2 from 9 a.m. to Noon. This school-readiness event is designed to give parents a sneak-peak into the innovative teaching and learning that takes place in classrooms across the District.

This festive, fair-like atmosphere will include many hands-on experiences for families where they can visit a TK/Kindergarten classroom with flexible seating and technology, walk into the lunch line of a school cafeteria where kids can sample yummy and nutritious food, and step onto a real school bus for fun photos. District TK and Kindergarten teacher experts in Reading, Writing and Math will be on hand to provide parents with tips and information on how they can prepare their child for school success.
