Hollingworth Elementary Kicks Off WATCH D.O.G.S.®
Students with fathers and father-figures of Hollingworth Elementary met last night for a Dads and Kids’ Pizza Night to kick off a new innovative father involvement program called WATCHD.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students). WATCH D.O.G.S.® is the father involvement initiative of the National Center For Fathering. Hollingworth Principal Dr. Michael Hoon said, “We had about 50 Dads, 70 kids and 10 Moms (getting info for their husbands) attend last night and it was a great success! Dads “lined-up and signed-up” to volunteer on campus for a single day, while others said they would be regular Watch DOGS either once or twice a week.” Please call Hollingworth Principal Dr. Hoon for more information at (909)598-3661.
