All elementary band students have the opportunity to participate in one of Rowland Unified School District’s Elementary Performing Bands. These performing ensembles meet every THURSDAY evening, at the Jellick Elementary School Multipurpose Room.

 

During these rehearsals, band students receive extra individual and group instruction. In addition, the students are given the opportunity to perform musical pieces which are not available in their regular twice-a-week band classes held at each school site. From time to time, we also invite other instrumental specialists to assist students who are having problems playing their instruments. This is an invaluable experience for your child; therefore, please make every effort to give him/her the opportunity to attend these FREE evening rehearsals.

 

Beginning Band Students 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Intermediate Level Band Students 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM

 

Parents are always welcome to stay and listen to any of our band practices. If you choose to drop off your child, you must remember to pick your child up promptly at the end of his/her lesson. The first Thursday Night Band will be held on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday Night!
